Not all Zero APR Cards are the same.
For instance, right now, credit card companies are only required to give you an "introductory" rate of
0% APR. Sure, they will tell you, all day long, that the card itself is 0% APR, but after a couple of months
or a single late payment, it could jump.
That is why you need to know all of the changes that are going to be instated soon, as well as what
those card offers actually mean when they promise you the sky.
New credit card rules go into effect in July 2010 and these are good changes for the consumer. Federal regulators have approved some tough new rules, this being the largest change in credit card companies in 30 years. It has been recognized that consumer disclosures are outdated and now with the revisions, terms and conditions will be more fair and easily understood.
